Challenge
To help Providence's Talent Acquisition partner create a national RN hiring campaign, we needed to communicate the breadth of opportunity for prospects, tie together multiple brands, and encourage qualified job applications.

Solution
Leaning in on the diversity of opportunities, we played up the fact that no matter how unique a prospect is, they’ll find a perfect fit with us. Leveraging the meaning of unicorn to describe a unique skillset for job applicants, we created an eye-catching departure from the expected. It’s an approach which appeals to a nurse’s sense of humor while also making them feel special.

Challenge
Promote the opening of a new Providence St. John's medical office in the Playa Vista, CA neighborhood. Build recognition with a skeptical audience of tech-savvy young consumers, and invite them to an open house event.

Solution 
Appeal to employees of tech companies in Playa Vista by applying wordplay to their industry jargon, and connecting that with key messages of our expert, compassionate, and conveniently located care. Drive interested prospects to a landing page to learn more and RSVP.

Challenge

Solution 
Appeal to the target audience by telling relatable stories through text message conversations. The campaign played out across social, web, and print.

Challenge

We had the unique opportunity to capture a targeted audience during the US Track and Field Olympic Trials events. In less than a week, we needed to concept and produce an ad that appeared in the event program-booklet to promote Providence Sports Medicine.

Solution

Appeal to this sports-savvy audience by presenting vibrant photographic subjects of people striving to achieve their best in track and field sports. We connected the imagery with a message that delivers the key benefits of athletes using our Sports Medicine services, and celebrated the brave contenders who were striving to make the Olympic team.

Results

The ad was a success, and it was picked up for placement in other Providence publications, and turned into a series.

Challenge
Create a campaign promoting the customized genomic medicine services of the Swedish Cancer Institute to keep it relevant and competitive with other cancer centers in the area.

Solution
Provide a simple tagline and premium portrait photography that tells a story of how genetic expression of physical traits makes each person unique, and relating that to how each cancer patient deserves customized care.

Challenge

Rethink the way we create patient testimonial videos and jump into an in-progress project of creating three videos. One challenge was to up the production value while staying within a modest budget.

Solution

Dig deeper into the stories of each patient with in-depth interviews, source personal footage from our subjects, travel to where they work or live, and build trust with each interviewee to capture poignant moments. Employing a more subjective camera, and more polished post-production techniques, including an animated intro, and shooting all three videos in a single trip, we created a cost-aware winning formula that can be repeated.

Challenge

Write a blog article based on a University of Michigan poll regarding parents and their threshold levels for keeping sick children out of school.

Solution

First, personalize the topic with real stories from my own family. Then, take a boring infographic and have our designer remake it with humorous stock art. After that, conduct my own mini-poll of my colleagues with children and tally the results. And, finally, interview a Providence expert to get real-world advice from a specialist and promote him, his practice, and our company's medical system.

Solution
Dig into the stories of the people behind the innovations,  and create visually engaging infographics to help carry the load. 

Challenge

To attract an audience of Canadian patients who are close enough to Swedish Health's Seattle locations, offering them a quicker alternative to waiting for their number to come up in their country's socialized medicine system.

Solution

In print and online versions of Calgary's largest newspaper, tout the immediate availability, nearness, and expertise of Swedish Health's providers, and customize the message for residents of Calgary and the surrounding area.

Challenge

Create a new brand campaign for Providence and all of its affiliate brands. Something simple, emblematic, and flexible for all 7 states and brands.

Solution

Take a simple, Internet-speak contraction and build it into a relatable on-ramp for offering reasons why our customers care to keep themselves healthy.

Challenge

Come up with a repeatable process to create new physician biography videos for their clinic websites, while minimizing cost, and inconvenience.

Solution

Shoot in our in-house studio with multiple doctors in a single day to help reduce cost and elevate the creative, based on economies of scale. The videos highlighted the doctors' professional expertise and also focused on their unique personalities.

Challenge

Take an incredibly complicated subject in the highly regulated field of health insurance and create a brochure that salespeople can use to communicate the benefits to their potential customers.

Solution

Eliminate as much corporate doublespeak and industry jargon as allowed and populate the brochure with easy to understand graphics and pleasant, relevant photography.
